For our staff’s Christmas day out we took a trip over to the Isle of Wight for a day filled with amazing experiences, fun and fantastic food.

On the way over to Cowes we boarded a 45 Foot Princess where on arrival received coffee and biscuits to start our day. We then cruised across the Solent to the IOW. The hospitality on board was first class and catered for all our needs.

When we got to the island Shelley took us out on her Cougar powerboat and gave us the experience of a life time. The speed and closeness to the water ensured that we had an exhilarating time. We went out in groups of three with Shelley, my colleagues who started out cautiously soon wanted to experience the full power of the boat. When we all got back to the land we were all buzzing.

We then went on for a meal and drinks in a local restaurant inCowes. . When it was time to go there was a rush to return in the powerboat with Shelley. The rest of us headed back on the Princess.

Overall the whole day was most enjoyable and definitely one to remember. I think the rest of my colleagues would agree that the whole atmosphere out on the boats was totally amazing and we are all ready and waiting for our next trip with Shelley and Team Raymarine.
