Just wanted to say thank you for coming to speak at our Professional Development Day for the Staffordshire Association for Women in Policing and to pass on our attendee evaluation feedback. The day went really well and I was pleased to see you looked like you were enjoying the event as much as the audience.
As you know, the theme for the day was Confident Delivery and we were looking to our speakers to be both motivational and inspiring. Judging by the feedback, I think you did just that. The following comments have been taken from the evaluation forms:
• How does she do it all?
• Showed anything is possible if you put your mind to it
• Can do attitude in a mans world
• Inspirational – I am now a fan
• I can relate to her lifestyle and admire her determination
• Balancing focus, determination and achievement in male dominated environment whilst still being feminine
Personally, I loved the presentation the mixture of video and dialogue was fantastic and your passion came across in waves (excuse the pun!!)
Many thanks once again Shelley. You are more than welcome to use any of these comments in full or in part as part of your ongoing marketing activities and to also quote my name, rank, and organisation.
With Best Regards

Just a short note to thank you for your excellent presentation to our Franchisees on Saturday.
The feedback was most positive and they all enjoyed hearing about your experiences in a man’s world!
You came across as a passionate and hard working individual which is precisely the message we wanted to convey that success only comes with hard graft and determination.
Thank you again

That was a splendid and sparkling talk. We all enjoyed your new approach and your infectious enthusiasm. We look forward to hearing or seeing about your new adventures in P1, with the big boys.
Unfortunately I shall not be speakers secretary next year, but will put in a good word for you. Just think of all that unlimited power in your hands.
Best wishes for the P1 season to yourself and Nigel.

Once again thank you so much for your kind donation towards our fund raising at the Pickle Wars 7 at the Woodvale Hotel. Sorry you couldn't make it.
With your trip on its own going for £410.00 we managed to raise a total of over £7100.00 for the Children's Liver Disease Foundation which was really great.
My grandson Daniel still talks of his day with you and the trip on the boat.
Once again, many thanks Terry Ashdown.
I am writing to tell you how much we appreciated Shelley Jory visiting Millbrook Community School for our presentation evening a couple of weeks ago. She gave an excellent and compelling address which inspired and engaged our students, past and present. I know how busy she is running a successful business at the same time as attempting to challenge the best in the highly competitive world of power boat racing. I thought as her sponsor I would thank you for making her life that bit more financially secure as I now appreciate how expensive it is to run a power boat team capable of challenging the best.
Once again, thanks and appreciation for all you do for Shelley.
We were very pleased to have Shelley as our speaker at the Mazars Business Club at the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton. Shelley's speech and DVD clips were thrilling and captivating - as was Shelley herself. I am very grateful to Shelley bringing her trophies and chequered flags along for the evening, and for the time she spent mingling with our guests, who were all very eager to find out more about her. I have received many emails and letters of thanks from our guests who enjoyed the evening tremendously. I would dearly love to have Shelley come back again in 12 months time, to tell us all about her 2008 season, and wish her every success for the year ahead.

Thank you once again from the Ashdown family for all you did for the Children's Liver Disease Foundation at the end of Cowes weekend. Little Daniel was thrilled to bits with his trip. All of your friends and your parents made us feel so welcome.
Best wishes for the future and hope to see you at the Woodvale for Pickled Onion Wars 7 on January 27th 2008.
Having heard Shelley speak once, I arranged for her to do a presentationto my colleagues at HSBC Bank as I found her presentation so inspiring and motivating. Shelley is passionate about her sport and demonstrates triumph over adversity which can be applied to many aspects of anyones life. You cannot fail to be inspired by her. I just hope I get to hear her presentation fora 3rd time!"

Just a quick letter of thanks for the motivational talk you delivered to the staff at Calshot last week. Bearing in mind the diverse nature of our staff from cooks and admin staff through to instructors and mangers, I was impressed how you struck a cord with all of them. It’s amazing how many people across the centre have been talking about you. We pride ourselves in trying to develop self confidence and self esteem, but to hear your history from Bridal shop to British Powerboat champion in such a male dominated sport turned a few heads – for different reasons.
For those of our staff who know anything about powerboats realise what skill and determination it takes to succeed, but actually I think it was more inspirational for those (particularly females) to see that if you really put your mind to succeed what can be achieved. The icing on the cake was being able to crawl all over the boat, look at the faces in the pictures. (see images) An inspirational talk appealing to a broad cross section of our staff – well done!

Dear Shelley and Libby,
Thank-you both for your fantastic contribution to our Sport Relief fund raising day - 8th July 2006 at our flag ship store at Hedge End. Your powerboat parked outside was a wonderful site and a true inspiration to the children! You have helped raise £2500.00 for Sport Relief - thank-you.
Darren Noonan - Store Manager
Thank-you very much indeed for all your help on Saturday 1st July 2006 at our annual fete. It was a great honour to have you open the fete with the Councillor John Slade the Mayor of Southampton. I realise how difficult it was to manoeuvre your powerboat into our car park, but I know the effort was appreciated by all.

Thank-you for returning by popular demand for a second time to speak at our Ladies Luncheon on 6th April 2006. The icing on the cake has to be your beautiful boat sitting outside the entrance of the club. Your speaking style is excellent and content of your presentation exhilarating and interesting. The natural rapport you have with the audience ensures you have everyone's attention. Well done Shelley!
Shelley and her team gave us a wonderfully exciting presentation on 22nd March 2006. Our senior citizens remained wide awake, entranced by Shelley, and her exploits, in the dangerous and thrilling world of powerboat racing. Her card reads 'articulate, motivational and passionate' Shelley is all that. By demand she is returning next March to enthrall us with her adventures in 2007. We wish her every success. Gordon Murray-Fisher
A big thank you for speaking at the Ladies Luncheon last Thursday. You did an excellent job and proved to be a real natural at after dinner speaking - yet another string to your bow. Your presentation was exiting, humorous and very entertaining and having the boat sitting outside the entrance gave the afternoon real impact. I am so pleased that you have agreed to speak again next year and have penciled in Thursday 6th April 2006 when we will all look forward to hearing your latest endeavours May I take this opportunity on behalf of us all at the Concorde Club to wish you every success.
Yours Sincerely Gill Jeffery
On 21 March 2005, Shelley Jory gave a fabulous speech at the Lainston House Hotel Ladies Lunch. All the ladies really enjoyed the entertaining DVD demonstrating the dangerous and exciting world of power boat racing and many of them have requested a return visit from Shelley. We just hope she will be able to bring the boat next time. .
